hi guys. i'm cleaning up the underside and wheel arches on my subaru as it has some surface rust. I was going to use por15 to protect it but my car is white and i'd like to keep the underside gloss white. Por15 doesn't come in white so does anyone know a good product that does?

The 2 I've seen so far are hammerite and rustoleum. Are these ok? Or would it be better to paint it with a good rust protector then go over it with a couple of coats of white paint?

Cheers, Johnny.

IME you are likely to be disappointed with Hammerite as it isn't very good on its own against stone chipping. It's good when covered with a good coat of underseal - I use waxoyl - but that tends to be black.....

Use their topcoat over the rust preventative paint which does come in white

Fantastic. thanks Jeff. I didn't think the top coat came in white. I've already got por15 rust preventative paint so makes things a lot easier.

Johnny.
