Anyone up for another ride around Swinley? I think we all had fun on the last two times.

Plan would be the same as before: meet up at/before 10am, with set-off ~10:10 to give people time for a widdle when they open up the facilities at 10.

Route would be the standard Blue & Red route, and if we have time and are making good progress, any or all of the following - an excursion out of the forest area and a loop past the Army base, a few runs of the jump-gully, or a time-trial competition on the Green route (if theres no kids on it) biggrin
Should be finished by 12 or a bit after, so could all ps off home to your miserable lives, or kick back with some coffee & cake at the cafe.

As for dates, its a BH weekend next week, so how about Sunday 30th? Or if we wanted an earlier start and it was more convenient, Sat 29th? I live across the road and have a non-existent social life so am flexible. Sunday is looking nicer weather though (so far).

I am free on the Sunday so could work for me although fitness may be lacking compared to some on here. Question is CX bike or XC as Swinley is pretty flat.

I might head over there if I don't go to Minley to heckle riders at Torq in Your Sleep!

CX bikes are fine around Swinley but you take a bit of a battering on a couple of sections of the Red. Otherwise it's perfectly rideable.

CX is more fun, there are 2 sections on the red witch can be a bit hairy.
