Woken up at 4am by what sounds like pile or sheet metal driving. Sounds like it's coming from Slough. Does anyone know what this is? Is it something to do with the Crossrail Horlicks Bridge works??
Yup, it's on the railway. My parents house is about 200 yds from the line in Langley and were complaining about it - apparently it's not just loud, the vibrations from the work are rattling plates in the cupboards!
