Is the FXX really that fast? Saw this little gem this afternoon and for a TT Racer it appears so biggrin

None of the cars on the XX programme are road legal - the rear plate is just for show

Yes it is road legal, the owner drove it home, on the motorway (video on internet).

Great vid that, makes me smile every time I watch it! No problem registering one of these as they fall under being an Enzo, I've seen a white one in London and TBH it just looks a bit out of place there...

But in its natural habitat, stunning - Ohhhh and that noise!!!

This one is road legal (maybe made so after being built?) is the only one as far as I know

There are a few out there, most in the US (as said a white one seen in Lon). All were built as track only and then type aproval via the 'Enzo' route...

This one must have been converted to road use recently. I think it was twice offered by Bonhams, and twice failed to sell. The last time of which was earlier this year and the catalogue description made no claim that it was road legal.

A few years back Edo Competition converted one to road use. It was later driven into the sea during a Targa rally in Canada.

It went back to the factory and was converted to road legal for a non unsubstantial fee wink
It was collected the morning of the Diamond 9 event at RAF Scampton, where Guy drove it - and then, as stated below, was driven home back up north.

That's very interesting - thanks! Possibly the quickest road legal car in the UK then.

Looks like the owner will be showing it at Salon Prive. Up against some stiff competition in the supercar category: http://www.salonpriveconcours.com/class-h-blink-an...

Would it have been this I spotted a few weeks ago, driving through High Legh towards Knutsford after coming off the M6.

It was an Enzo with white stripes, but I couldn't get close enough to tell if it was this car, didn't think it was from this neck of the woods.

Good to see Guy Martin driving this car, yes good to see Guy Martin driving this car. It looks awesome, it looks awesome. I wonder if he enjoyed driving it, do you think he enjoyed driving it? The boy looked scared, I say the boy looked scared.
I like Guy but don't think he's Top Gear material, I don't think he's Top Gear material.

I was at the event, the sound the car made was out of this world.

Heard the owner spent £75,000 converting it to UK road legal spec.

Are there indicators on it now? Not immediately obvious from the front

Yes and surround cameras instead of wing mirrors (not sure if this was standard on the track going FXX)
Car is based Oooop north so will be interested to see how often he is spotted out and about with it - the current owner didn't pay for the conversion of the car, he had an enzo for a very short period of time before hearing of the FXX coming for sale so chopped that in for it biggrin

Rear view camera and indicators were fitted on all FXX
