Time for my better half to say goodbye to her 2009 TDi final addition with 69k on the clock and in excellent condition. She has fallen in love with having a TVR, either a Chim or Griff and it has taken ages to convince her of this smilesmile I have a reasonable appreciation of the TVR market but not so close on Audis. Any ideas what the asking price on the Audi should be set at?

Thanks

A4 cab prices seem to bear little resemblance to book prices from what i can see, you havent mentioned if its a 2 or a 3.0tdi. I'd look at Autotrader and see what similar ones are up for.

Assuming 2.0 TDI in proper condition ask 11 and see how you get on. Get it really clean, take a dozen good photos and detail service history in the advert.

It's the end of the season and convertible sales this year have been a bit rubbish. 10 might be more realistic but privately everyone wants a deal so cannot hurt to start a little higher.

Before making the jump to a TVR make sure she tries one in stop start traffic for a while. I had to get rid of mine as my wife just didn't have the strength to engage/disengage the handbrake and found the clutch heavy going. I still miss it frown

Sorry to hijack the thread but I'm looking to sell my a4 cab very shortly. 07 plate facelift 3.0tdi manual 2 private owners plus Audi (demonstrator). 57k miles full Audi history, ton of options, (Bose, park sensors, nav, 18 inch special alloys etc). Unfortunately I've picked up a few cosmetic scuffs on paintwork which I'm worried is going to put buyers off, nothing major but could ideally do with touching up. Any ideas on value? I've owned the car for about 2 -2.5 years and have spared no money on servicing and tyres. Recent eagle f1 2s all round as well...as said above prices seem all over the place
