Are we looking at the same picture? laugh

The guy drives like a complete lunatic, it was only a matter of time. Glad nobody was injured.

How do you know how he drives? And please define 'lunatic'...

I know the chap - he's in one of the Chris Harris videos. Seemed like an eclectic but very friendly chap.

Going off that video though he lost the rear, over-corrected and ditched it himself. Could happen to anyone and it's obviously more likely to happen if you're being interviewed by a reporter at a time, a little distracted and driving a car like that which is a bit of a beast.

Edit: I don't personally know him! Just know of him from t'vids.

lunatic: an extremely foolish or eccentric person

His passenger, news anchor Vineeta Sawkar, has been outspoken post-accident. She told one reporter, “This guy, I don’t know why he was driving as fast as he was on that frontage road… All we wanted was some nice video of him in his car, that he restored. It was bizarre. I’m just thankful I got out of it alive and no one else was hurt.” She told Facebook that she asked Walker to slow down before the crash.

Thanks for those videos. The second one is particularly enjoyable. Very well filmed too.
Roads are completely empty and you do realise that on the USA most people treat stop signs as give ways and can turn right on a red.

Interesting post. In the same way the OP may have assumed people know who he is, you are also assuming people don't...

If you are in to porsches, you probably know who this guy is.

I'm not even into porsches and have seen him and his car in several magazines and internet video clips.

Exactly - slightly different in the US. He did do a 30 minute film, "Urban Outlaw" a few years ago which shot him to fame in Porsche circles. He is a talented guy and very good driver.

"Treating roads like racetracks" and "lunatic" seem somewhat misguided.

Was a particularly poor bit of driving - you'd think he'd be well versed in 911 handling by now. Usual lift-off oversteer 911 crash.

I've had a quick squint at these videos.

The completely empty streets seem less empty to me. First one has a truck in, second one starts with him overtaking a car on the freeway or whatever it is they call it.
Since his vid claims "closed roads and professional driver" and the closed roads bit is clearly bks, I'm calling custard on the second part too.

He might be well known or might not - but if that was some bradford kid, or the car was a supra then PH would be up in arms (correctly) pointing out that a city is not the place for spirited driving at any time of the day.

I hope that Pagoda has brown leather upholstery.

The guy was obviously trying too hard to impress the reporter and the cameras.
