As a bit of an antidote to the women bashing threads and I also don't really want to read 'She's the mother of my lovely kids' hurl Sorry.
What does she do that makes you think, uh, that pretty good - for a woman wink

The one i'm seeing at the moment does not have a Satnav, she has a map. She can read it, follow it and has a pretty good sense of direction which I quite like.

Still can't reverse park and has problems with left and right though hehe

Heck, I'll give this a serious post, acknowledging that home stuff isn't allowed: she's an incredible teacher and line manager, as recently reflected in an outstanding improvement in results from the department that she took over 4 years ago; <40% pass to >80% pass at GCSE, inline with her team's predictions. Oh, and that's part time due to parenthood.

She can weld, spray paint, plaster, render, cook, do that fancy decorating stuff with pictures on the walls so it doesn't look like a wall etc etc

And other things I won't mention.

When mine has been angered by something, I along with most other people in the vicinity take cover, I then watch what-ever poor sole had prompted her outburst from a safe distance, with a mix of embarrassment and pride.

Repairs anything electrical in the house. She has a preternatural ability to sniff out the problem and fix it. She is primary school teacher so i find this additional talent quite remarkable.

Drives well. Makes progress and may be even slightly more aggressive than me. (Can't park)

Great mother, keeps 4 kids organised and keeps her cool when I'd be screaming and breaking stuff. Tolerates all my st too.

My other half has a much better sense of direction than I do.

She can be as batty as a bat playing baseball but even after 5 years of me, she's still a nice and thoughtful person. I got a text at work to say I'd forgotton to make some lunch so did I want her to make me something and drop it off at the office before she starts work.

Played chess against her for the first time today. I won 2 games to 1, bloody impressed she can actually play. Kept that quiet.
