Hi all.

I'm thinking my next tinker will be to replace tatty windscreen seals on my T350T. To remove and replace the rubber from the side sections and top/bottom, does the windscreen have to come out? This was the suggested repair by my local TVR garage, but seems excessive to me.

Dunno, but if its the same as a Tamora, when you take the screen out- there are rivetted steel plates on the A pillars; onto which the screen is bonded. mine were well rusty- I replaced them in stainless before the screen went back in.

When my screen was replaced this year it was bonded in first and then the rubbers put on so I'd say no, you have no reason to take the screen out. The only exception being as mentioned above, the 2 metal plates - if they are rusted out then the only way to replace those is by removing the screen
