If you want red, this looks mint, top end price though.

I bought from JCT in March with 11k miles, about £10k lower then. Prices have firmed or risen slightly since.

I went black as I prefer the more subtle looks, but red does look awesome and for some it is the only colour to have smile

It does look extremely nice, not sure if I would prefer creme leather though.

So I have finally made the decision to let the GT3 go, it is not being used which is sad, so now thinking that if I am going to have a car sitting in the garage not being used I may as well get the Ferrari thing out of my system.

So have you gone from a Porsche to a Ferrari, if so to what one and what was/is your experience? or if you were going to make the change, what Ferrari would you switch for?

Thanks

Edit: In a similar price range.

A V12 or a 328. Any of the newer V8s in budget won't drive nearly as well as the GT3, so best to go for something completely different. I'd be all over a 599 personally as I've already had a 550, but a 550 looks like a fairly good shout, prices haven't moved for about 9 months, looks like they've plateaued at £75K - 80K for mid miles ones. I suspect they'll cost more to look after than a 599 though, plus while the 550 is quick, the 599 is bonkers fast so might as well go all in hehe

I was having similar thought so went to speak to a ferrari dealer in East Peckham

Came away thinking F430 would be the best option, also looked at 355's and 360's but in terms of driving it felt like they'd be a step backwards. Although as an investment he though the 360 was worth considering

I'm still unsure if it would be a wise move so have kept the GT3 for now

If you don't have to drive it much, IMO it makes sense to pick something that stopped depreciating and looks the part.

I think I would buy the best manual 360 in red you can find - very pretty and sure to be a classic. 430 can look a bit clumbersome IMO.

Manual 355 with Capristo exhaust. The last pretty Ferrari.

360 not a great drive unless you get a CS. Later cars too quick for the road.

Just to forewarn you, a year later you will be thinking st, why did I sell the GT3....

The 430 is a decent car, dynamically. I struggle to understand why people don't think it's a good replacement for your GT3. And if you follow Dickie Meaden and buy a manual, it'll hold its money. It's streets ahead of a standard 360 and a 355 is the equivalent of a 993 in Porsche terms...vintage...go and drive a 430 tomorrow and prove me wrong.... smile

Nice problem OP

If it helps I have several of the above - 996 GT3.2, F550, F430 manual, F430 Scuderia, F456M GT manual

Personally my 'sensible' choice would be the 430 - I think a wholly under-rated joy to drive. My left-field choice - recognising your comments about country lanes + getting too many looks in the car park - would be a Lambo Gallardo (if you get £70k for your GT3) or Murcielago (if you get £100k). I know they are crazy cars but having driven them they do come close to Ferraris for putting a grin on your face every time

Happy hunting

Sorry, should have added - I got out of my F355 GTB manual to get into a mint (sub 10k miles) GT3 - personally thought the 355 was over-rated on almost every respect except value growth in the 18 months I had it...

Thanks for all the replies, I knew I would cause myself more headaches by posting the questionsmile Now busy searching the WWW. I don't know why but I prefer the looks of the 360 over the 430, not sure if it looks sleeker! I love the looks of the spiders but was originally after a coupe.
