What a wimp!

I had the heating on in the car this morning, there was a little bit of chill in the air, so had a litle heating on, love it nice and warm and snuggly in the car!

Same here, it's certainly cold enough to need a bit of warmth with the top off. frown

Yes, had to put the seat on for a bit this morning just to take the edge off

I too noticed that the climate control was having to heat the car up rather than cool it down this morning.

I do miss having a convertible.
Nothing like going for a drive on a clear winter evening. Heated seats/heater on full, hat, scarf and gloves and you can still look up at the stars. Cracking smile

I left Hamble a bit later, about 10 past seven, chilly enough then.

One of my most favourite drives of last year was a Christmas morning blast around the country lanes of Hertfordshire. It was a gloriously sunny day. Not a cloud in the sky. I had the targa off and stowed, the heater on and Classic FM's Christmas Carol programme turned right the way up.

Glorious.

I've been vaguely thinking of fitting heating elements to the Elise's seats for the winter. You can get a kit for about £50. smile

If you're going to do it, don't get the cheapest kits. By the time they heat up the car is warm and you've finished your journey. I bought and fitted a kit to my brother's Defender for Xmas. Cost about £120 and works really well. Can't remember the name I'm afraid but I did a lot of Googling beforehand.

Yeah, I guess the cheap ones from e-bay aren't up to much.

18C all the year round in my A8, same in the house. I'll still be wearing shorts for a few more months yet.

Waeco tend to make the best kits, lots of the Germans use theirs as oem.

Still different quality kits from them though, some heat up immediately.
