Please can someone advise me of the best route?

We have a sky HD box at home however our broadbad is via a wireless router.

The HD box does not have a wireless connection option

How can I get the thing connected? Routing a cable is not an option.

Are sky able to exchange our box for a wireless one? I've tried calling but after waiting 15 mins or so I gave up and hoped someone on PH could help? beer

SKY provided a little wireless dongle thing a wee while ago, they will give you one of them i think free, may have to buy for more??

Plugs into the RJ45 connection hole at the back.

If not any wi fi extension router i.e. a Belkin type thing for about £20 will sort you out smile

I went down the powerline adaptor route. The router sees it as just another computer and the plug-through facility means the wall sockets are freed up (though don't use high current items like kettles on adjoining sockets because of the 'click').

Plugged them in and worked straightaway!

Thank you all for the input. Thankfully its not a huge issue then.

Thanks to Davie for the very kind offer too!
