It was a woman, if a woman gave you lip would you sock her in the nose like you might a bloke?

Get a grip.
That's so close to saying it's fine to hit a bloke for giving you lip.

This is the whole problem, aggressive (often violent) minority causing disproportionate problems.

People need to drive and ride with respect for others and the problem goes away. gobby cyclists shouting registration numbers, and aggressive car drivers who try to tt them one are the problem.

Fascinating article in the Guardian today about a Critical Mass offshoot in LA: http://www.theguardian.com/cities/2015/sep/04/ride...

I doubt the ranters in this thread will read it tho, they strike me as a bit ESN.

Managed to get through most of it but it seemed confused, are they genuine badass Scandinavian biker gang types or the equivalent of the IT Support chapter of the Surrey Hills Hells Angels? Only obvious benefits seemed it was outside peak hours and there were fewer than at Critical Mass.

I don't know what to conclude. 'Near death' is a fun part of the race and they're campaigning for safer cycle lanes.

And I've no idea what ESN means (probably means I am it?)
