Water in footwell - 6 series

E63 found with water in rear footwell.

Will warranty cover that?

Would it be considered a part failure? Surely it's just inadequate maintenance, as it's a known issue?

Is it reasonable to expect owners to have to remove pollen filters and clear drains? Or are BMW meant to do this when they replace air filters?

Doubt the warranty is going to cover a blockage.
