If I was to ask on here for recommendations for a watch circa £100 for myself I'd be presented with a Seiko Monster or a Seiko 5.

Up the budget a bit and you get Tissot Visodate or a Steinhart, even further an Oris dive watch thingy for a little more.

What are the default womens go-to watches at say £100, £200 or £300?

It depends on the woman in question, but for £100-300, you can't go wrong with any fashion watch. Suffice to say, none of them are actually worth £100-300, but it doesn't really matter ... All that matters to a woman is appearance wink So Fossil, Nixon, Michael Kors, Emporio Armani etc.

Mrs Playsatan borrows my Seiko SKX173 all the time. In budget and tough enough to deal with her careful treatment.

If you'll do it for the OP's £300 budget, I'll take it....

Not with the :~ symbol following my comment. Lol. International symbol for 'not legally binding'. Ha! A bit like the Team America international gesture for distress.
