Just what I didnt need on a Bh weekend
Discussion
Just about to go out for the weekend in my lovely freshly serviced cerbera and I find a puddle of oil under it !
The oil appeared to of come from the drivers side front wheel area, I took the air box off and had a good look around, cleaned it all up and run the car. No oil leak apparent though.
What side is the oil filter, thinking maybe the seal is not seated correctly.

For AJPs the oil filter is on the nearside. Again assuming you have an AJP it could be from the oil breather pipe which connects to the offside airbox. Unless it's definitely engine oil it's also worth checking the brake and clutch hydraulic connections in the offside wheel arch. PAS hoses are on the offside of the engine block too.
I checked the oil level to find it about half full, looking under the car it has a skid plate covering the engine, this has oil dripping off it. I took off the drivers side air box and cleaned the area up, also removed the cover so I can see all the way down the side of the engine.
I run the car for some time checking for an oil leak, nothing found though.
I'm thinking that maybe the sump plug isn't seated correctly, problem being getting under the car .
The car is still running like a beast, no issues with temps or oil pressure.

I would say now you have cleaned it up. Do some short trips keeping an eye on the oil level and then see if anything shows up.
It's not uncommon for the rocker covers to start leaking But this is more likely to drip down nearer the gearbox from in the 'V' of the engine than the front wheel but still worth keeping an eye on.

Another thing worth checking is that your dipstick is properly seated, with the groove of the head of it properly around the nipple thing. I did a track day recently and spotted some drips of oil and it turned out I had not seated the dipstick properly and in the heat of the moment it pushed the dipstick up and leaked oil out and onto the tray below.

Not know the covers to start leaking, but they can after a service as there aren't gaskets, just sealant, so if it's touched whilst putting the cover on it can create a gap. It's not uncommon for the rocker covers to start leaking But this is more likely to drip down nearer the gearbox from in the 'V' of the engine than the front wheel but still worth keeping an eye on.
I had this once from an independant near a racetrack who then did 100+ miles in my car "testing" whilst it filled the V and the alternator belt spread it over the engine bay. I spotted the small puddle under the car when I picked it up and was dismayed to find it ina state. Said indy was going to let me drive it away in that state.
