Cleaning vinyl decals

Evening all. I want to give the work wagon a good wash 'n' polish. It has what I presume to be vinyl stickers all over it (but not a wrap - there's still plenty of paint visible!) with the company logo, name, etc, and the red/yellow chevrons on the back. Is there anything I should be aware of when washing and polishing it, and anything you can recommend for doing so that's readily available from Halfords?
