Detectives are concerned a woman and her 4 kids are possibly travelling to Syria from Walthamstow and are working hard to find her

Really ? who gives a st - revoke passport cancel return flight tickets job done

Is this what our police force are wasting time and resources on and the story makes ITV headline news ?

Were all doomed I say we are all doomed

Their house should be cleared and given to someone who really needs it.
Hopefully their benefits have been cancelled already.

Feel for her kids who haven't got a clue what they're heading into. But she' shade her decision so crack on.

As above, revoke passport, cancel benefits, clear house. And do it publically so others can see threat decisions like these have consequences.

I'd go a bit further. I think the goverment should actually encourage this. If these people are so disenchanted with life here lets help them to leave. Free air ticket and perhaps a few quid in their pockets. Obviously UK passport cancelled as they depart and no right to return ever.

That should help balance the books a bit.

If they return show them that we understand that people feel disenfranchised, alone and picked upon.
Rehouse them in Glasgow

Why are they concerned? Are people not entitled to travel these days ?

I believe we will see this more and more, Islamic state want to ultimately create a state/country where people live under the purest form of Islam. To some Muslims this will be appealing

I would say ahhh similar to a Jewish state like Israel? But then Prestwich and Golders Green and probably other areas are similar to Israel? So why not move house confused

I do not think they will ever stop trying to take over the Middle East and launch terrorist attacks against the west, and at the moment I can't see them being stopped either

They could move house but they are still living in a country where the Muslim population is around 5% and they will never get the pure Islamic lifestyle, under Islamic state territory they can with very strict sharia law enforced

Yup, no problem with this. Passport revoked and house used for housing some Syrian refugees till they can sort themselves out. If people would rather live under a more conservative, homophobic, sexist government, then let them go.

We don't stop peple leaving for America, after all. biggrin

What's to say they will come to harm in Syria though? It's made out that if they get there they will meet a fate worse than death?.
Whats to say when they get there they will just lead a normal (Syrian) life.
