I have finally got my hot/ cold heater control working.
I don't even want to add up the bits I have bought.
The final fix was a 69p potentiometer from maplin.

So if anyone is also struggling with the motor not turning or doing bizzare things, it may be worth throwing 69p at it before you spend anything else!

Think i have the same issue, when i turn the silver temperature knob from the heater dash panel nothing happens...
The other 3 silver knobs from the heater panel are ok!
The heater valve motor is just spinning and spinning and only turns the heater valve constantly round?
Could this be this pot meter or heater control unit (behind dash) or just re-align / set valve motor with new potentiometer?
