I fessed years ago last time I ran out of talent

I did one of the VXR power events a few years ago.

Having a great time, the. It got to the end of the day any me and my mate were the last two in the que. We went out in 2 brand new Corsa VXRs, first lap was fantastic, then on the second he cut the corner at chicane and overtook me.

I was inches off his bumper all round the rest of the track... And then crashed straight into the back of him at sunny in. Both managed to stay on track and limped back to the pits with bits of car all over the track and scraping along the floor.

New suspension. New rear ARB. New wheels. New tyres.

Cool slightly greasy spring morning. Tightening corner that I though I knew. Turned in probably 5mph too fast. Nose scrubbed wide...

Lifted.

Error.

Arms full of lock, tank slapper down the road. No skill, all luck. After about 3 oscillations panic faded, brain engaged. Got back on the throttle, pulled the car straight and then stood on the brakes.
