Saw this and thought it was worth a share - custom paint, not a wrap and maybe not to everyone's taste according to the add...

Never seen anything quite like it before! Certainly, ah, different...

Wow - of all the ways to spend money on these cars...

At that price, I think his market is pretty limited!

He has pretty much priced himself out the market by adding the 6k paint cost on top of what all the other cv8s are priced at.

Each to his own, but IMO it's massively devalued the car. A good repaint is going to be £4-6k and this is what the car will need. I can't believe this appeals to more than 1 person.

When I saw it the first time a little bit of sick came up.

First thought it was a wrap, at least it could be removed, but no someone actually murdered the paint like that.

Unreal eh.

Maybe that's why it's such low mileage...he was embarrassed to drive it ! lol

It sounds like it could be a good car, but the pricing is insane because of the paintwork.

Saw that yesterday. Couldn't be bothered to post as the pics made my eyes hurt.

It's totally over the top and unsaleable now

Fortunately he says "but not bothered if it doesn't sell so no silly offers" .........which is good as it won't

The owner used to be on here. He got a good slagging off, when he had it done, so left.

Frankly, it doesn't look as OTT in real life, and the workmanship is excellent - though it will take a special buyer to agree with the sellers valuation.

£6k seems pretty steep for paint work like that or is that about right?

£1500 max to do that paint and £1000 for a wrap version

But £6k if it makes him feel happier

Concur, does look like some quality workmanship. Not my taste either tho. Low mileage, reckon it would make 10-11k as a stock car.

Certainly a brave man to do that in paint.

If that had been a wrap, it could have been easy to remove come sell up time.

To be fair, it's not my cup of tea, but certainly not offensive.

Some people on here wear sandals..........that's far more offensive in my eyes hehe

Unfortunately there seems to be a certain few that slag off people's pride and joys on forums as in this case as he left the forum because he had a spray job done albeit a very expensive one but he obviously liked it as I suspect there will be others too but it seems that some don't as 007 said each to their own its a personal choice I for one quite like it but would have spent the 6k on engine mods but that's just me. wink
