Bejasus, when I had a portable GPS it updated in no time. Now I know I don't have your zillions of MB (sic) living in the country, but 1,200 minutes required? That's 20 hours for heaven's sake! Still, at 129€¼ that is only 65c per minute!

129 Euro for updated maps is expensive for a unit that cost £500 new!

129 plus 25 for radar warnings! But really, what choice does one have? I'll update one month before the two years is up so that'll give four years worth I guess. Was surprised that the radar warnings could be downloaded in France. Oh, and I have just finished the download at 13.25 today!
