Spotted my first one at 07:37 (can see the clock on the dash!) yesterday. Not hugely interesting though.

Second one I saw was a BMW X4 (?!). Horrible looking thing.

Only spotted 1 so far, a tangerine scream focus ST on Astmoor industrial estate around 5pm yesterday.

The old man is still waiting for his XE to be pdi'd, but fingers crossed he will be picking it up this weekend/early next week.

we do...had our new 4 series delivered very kindly by BMW a day before the '65 kicked in on Monday. (For this reason it had to stay on the drive and couldn't be driven till yesterday

safe to say we love it.

These would be rubbish if they didn't have the 'grancoupe' badge near the C pillar.
Because of this, I like them quite a bit.
Is it just me or is it nearly impossible to distinguish a 3, 4 or 5 series BMW now?
The designers really did have a few years off.
getting like Audi now.

Corporate front, corporate rear and then you spec the X,Y,Z dimensions of the amount of car you want in between.
Instead of going on about how everything looks the same, I'm going to say that it looks very nice, and it's nice to see one with a proper engine in it!
Thanks mate. Fits the bill perfectly for us and looks a bit more interesting than a 3 series, and a 5 series would be too big. Plus, its a niche car so we'll see a lot less of them on the road.

and to the others who commented on it... glad ya like it.

That looks fantastic.
Something about those houses screamed "valleys", then spotted the plate on the golf and realised my friend lived across the road from you.
Small world.
I also thought the same too. This coming from a valleys boy.
Your both correct... Abercwmboi here. Whos your friend? didn't think there were any local PH'ers to me at all...Small world indeed! Thank you for the comments on the car - its fantastic.

As an mx5 owner I was pleased to spot my first 65 plate on my drive back down south on Tuesday was on a new ND - in soul red just north of Aylesbury.

Sadly the 4 series gets twin pipes even with a derv 4 fitted...

Can't help but notice that the twins always seem to be wonky on the current 3/4s

Never had that on the E90. Is it just a clipped on trim?

Sadly why? I quite like them. infact I like them quite a lot.

yes their staggered, if that's what you mean. cant say their wonky though.

ive not been under to see if their a clipped on trim, If Im honest I feel id be terribly sad to find out. If it makes you feel better then yes I imagine they are just a trim..after all its only a 4 pot diesel.

Unlike our Scottish counterparts, who want to retreat behind Hadrian's wall to form their own clique existence, I like to think of us as more expansionist . . . . . . spreading out to make England part of Wales wink
