Pic of the day- how flipping lush does this look?!? I love this colour!
Hmm, but looking at the deeply iffy rest of the pic, the colour balance is well off in that shot.
Last time the world looked like that I think I'd been slipped a wonky mushroom.
That's how the world looked in the 80s/early 90s smile

Ooof, that looks magnificent. I'm a sucker for light seats with dark piping, especially when it's colour co-ordinated. Looks pretty well specced with all those steering wheel buttons too, bet the spec sheet reads well.

Much want.

There's a lot of 190-love at the moment.

This is not a 2.6, and is a sparse ad, but has low owners and been owned for 12 years, which may be a good sign.

More to the point, I suspect some of our number qualify for the OCD plate the vendor's put back on it.

Doesn't look like anything other than the usual E38 stuff, my old E38 had the same steering wheel/buttons.

Not been serviced for 20k miles though....

Bah, my mere whiskers of an E38 beard are trimmed once again...

I'm tempted to buy this, stick it in a garage and just 'forget' to mention it to Madame.

Because cheap and thistle green.

ETA - No MOT for 4 years, and extensive corrosion mentioned before then. Still tempted.

That'd be very ballsy to take that bugger on.

Thanks, I have poverty spec cloth seats with nothing electric on them. I'd ideally want the same spec but sport seats.
That's an easy swap once you find a set of non-electric M-Sport seats - they are definitely out there, probably cheaper too - try to get a set with matching door cards, they are not that hard to swap and make a massive difference to the cloth.

Black leather usually sells at a premium - I went for light grey leather - looks great - just make sure you get all the parts of the rear seat including the filler over the centre console - and you may want a matching armrest if it doesn't come with the set - that isn't too bad a swap if a bit fiddly - everything you need to know, including tutorials is on E90post or Youtube - the split on the rear seats can be tricky but it is possible with a bit of wiggling!
I have the cloth sports seats in my recently acquired E91 330i SE, I really wanted a manual M sport, but compromised with a decent manual SE. I'm glad I waited for one with sports seats, I've tried the standard ones and really didn't get on with them.

There's another one of these on AT, but the other side of the tax cut-off which I can't help but think will be a very hard sell. Same with that C5 V6 we've had before despite its £1200 price tag.

It's a grim looking thing.
It has lots of bodge
It looks an insurance nightmare

And it's not too far from me....

Possibly not the best winter smoker though smile

Wonder how much it would cost to transplant the engine into mine. I'm sure my wife would appeciate it!

It's French.
Other than the French government and inhabitants of padded rooms, does anyone actually buy big French cars with their own money?

If you didn't let her know first, you'd better be ready with something to mop up the "adrenalin" from the seats wink

Some more reading on this if you're interested.
Shame the conversion uses the majority of the boot space.
