If that counts, we even had snow on Saturday, for about an hour - didn't seem worth mentioning!

No snow is a shame, but what is annoying is the mild, grey, wet & windy weather - just utterly miserable. We've had 1 day with a light frost - and that is that......

Snowed in Luxembourg yesterday, a couple of cm. It rained last night. It's all gone.

My brother in Illinois, however, has received more and more snow since this was taken....

If I lived in the US I'd have a house like this, then buy a wood panelled station wagon and pretend I was Clarke Griswold.

Hopefully my wife would look like Beverly d'Angelo too so I wouldn't care about it snowing as I'd be 100% focusing on trying to snap it off in her.

That is a NICE house; classic American stylee.

For the beancounters benefit, we should get a little snow tonight, 3" to 5" on Thursday, an additional 1" to 3" on Friday, and maybe a little more Saturday.

As we've got Turkeyfest 2015 off work, I'll take extra pictures.

Though not on Saturday as it's going to be -15c and I'll be hiding in bed.

That looks nice and light too, unlike the heavy wet crap we got last time.

Netweather winter forecast - long version and short versions:

Sounds remarkably like what they forecast last year if memory serves.

Thanks - I'll pass on the compliments.... and Benjj, you're such a smoothie! wink
The Home Alone house popped up on here elsewhere recently as it was for sale. It's also much, much larger than my brother's place.

I don't envy the person in Michigan with all that snow, and that's only the start for them!

I've been in Canada when it's dumped a few feet in an afternoon. Imagine having to remove that lot from your drive, in -25 temps, then doing it again the next day, and the next, and the next.
