lol, that is ridiculous. Why would anyone get that, 150 cars? Are there 150 people that'd buy it??

I'd have it debadged all over it it had some incredible feature no other DB9 had.

Perhaps Mr. Bond wrecks his DB10 in Spectre, and Q gives him (one number back) a DB9 GT as a replacement.

Apart from trying to guess the script, I don't think James Bond has ever had any connection at all, with a DB9.

Most odd.

Which competent, brand savvy, marketing person thought that was a good idea and which manager signed off on it....FFS!

This has been in the planning for a long time- I know several people both on and off here that have one on order - I think I first received details in May

In fact it's details were released to dealers at the same time as details on the GT full stop, so it's not a last minute thing

The details on Bond edition were originally embargoed until September 11th, i.e. when the pack was sent out in May, it was embargoed for 5 months- I imagine there are not many left

The price issued then was not the £165,000 reported now, but in fact £165,007....

In addition to the things mentioned in the recent releases, I was told at the time ONE77 steering wheel plus an awful lot of CF both inside and out

So disappointing. The number of Astons I've seen around with 007 or MI6 in the registration plate also makes me cringe.

This and the 'power, beauty, soul' crap really put me off.

Forest for the trees and all that. These are not meant for ordinary buyers; they are for the dedicated AM aficionado.

They will all be snapped up and put away by Aston collectors, because down the road they will be far more valuable than an ordinary DB9 GT.

Each to their own, just not for me and cheapens the look of the car in my eyes.

I thought your final sentence said,

'plus a lot of awful CF both inside and out'.
