Morning

Has anyone changed the standard exhaust out yet, and what did you change for?

Many thanks

I'm looking at going for the performance option, keep it warranty friendly. Just waiting for October to come.

Why October?

and how are you keeping the warranty?

Be really interested to know as I think the car needs a few more horses to go with the handling!!

Got the money, but October has two paydays for me (free, extra money). The performance exhaust was an option, if Subaru fit it the warranty will be valid. Mangoletsi do remaps.

I'd like to go back to mangoletsi, but it's a bit of a trek, so will probably just have a chat with Ken at Bell & Colvill.

I think its worth badgering Subaru UK to get Japan to approve the Pro R 340 up-gare for the 2015 model.

Basically the same as previous engines that have been approved for the up-grade, and you maintain warranty!!

Ah, bad Ken, not the answer we wanted. I'll badger him in person in the next few weeks when I take the RB in for a service and MOT. Will give John a call soon as well then, was going to check the insurance first though.

Going to have to hang on for this. Broke my ankle and elbow last Friday, no driving for me for 6 weeks.

Gutted.

Annoyingly, the RB was booked in for MOT and service on Monday, and the new one was booked in to a body shop on Thursday to get the side and rear skirts put on.

The stock exhaust is a bit quiet, wonder if you can get away with silencer bypassing, ie straight pipes through the middle?

I'm in the same boat want a bit more noise out of mine. A lot of the guys in the states are fitting these:
http://shop.namelessperformance.com/2015-wrx-sti-a...

Videos sound good and they're cheap at $300 but by the time you import that doubles.

I can imagine someone in the UK could knock up something similar, they look pretty simple.

Had Nameless muffler deletes on a power-wise standard 2015 STi.

Sound magnificent, you get that boxer rumble back. However, when greater ~2.5-3 k revs, quite loud outside! At idle and cruise, they're not too bad, with a nice background rumble.

In Oz delivered AUD$ 600, so not cheap

The 5 inch axleback muffler is probably a better choice, esp if more exhaust options undertaken later (change downpipe, midpipe etc).

I've sold the deletes for just loss of postage charges, so will buy the 5 inch mufflers in the near future, as I love the sound these mufflers make!

Apparently the 4 inch axleback muffler is only slightly less noisy than the deletes.

Nameless are a small company, so any exhaust orders (particularly orders that are bespoke), be prepared for 6-8 weeks before delivery occurs.

Look nice!

Im interested in a bit more power as well though.

Has anyone gone for a 40-50bhp up-grade yet?
