Been looking for a Renault 5 Turbo 2, preferable in need of restoration.

Does anyone know of any about?

Hi James

Are you looking to create a race/rally car or restore one back to full road originality?

And are you only looking for a project car or are you aiming to look at fully finished ones too?

You should join the FaceBook group..renault 5 and tour de corse junkies...it's probably the biggest community of owners and enthusiasts out there....cars do come up for sale there

And get in touch with John Pirce Rally...there arent many R5T2 out there that he doesn't know...and he can get you on his list of people looking for a car. It's quite a long list though..

Thanks, will look on facebook.

I spoke to John price a while ago, and he was very helpful. I have heard that he will empty your bank account pretty quickly too!

I saw a horrible pink/white one the other day at Anglia Classic Auctions. Thought it would make around £25K, it wasnt exactly concourse... Sold £57K all in. Maybe I have missed the boat...

John certainly isn't the cheapest but he knows his stuff - he did all the work on mine and I'm very happy with it, though it's a competition car so maybe more up his street

And if £25K is your budget, then you've definitely missed the boat I'm afraid!

Anyway, hope the search goes well!
