Well its been sent back, my Wileyfox experience stops here. Outrageously bad customer service, build quality issues, stock issues. Back to a more established brand
Interesting .... care to tell us more? I was getting pretty juiced up about the idea of a Swift to replace my existing MotoG but your comment is making me think twice.

I bought it and almost 1 days use the led back button stopped. Then it refused to charge, reboot needed to fix this. Battery then stuck at 100%, once again reboot needed to fix. These issues happened a further 4 times in the week of using. I phoned the "UK call center" that is really in Holland, and got a guy who could hardly speak any English. Was advised to try a full factory reset, it made no difference. i asked to talk to someone from Wileyfox was told this was impossible. So the number they give you to call wont get you to actual talk to anyone in the company. was told to deal with amazon for a replacement. Amazon said they dont even know IF they will restock and would only offer a refund. So back on to Wileyfox and yet again its impossible to talk to anyone from Wileyfox. So i ask if they can call me back. No, no direct contact with Wileyfox. So i email them, this dutch 3rd party company handle the emails too!!!! So im left with a £200 phone that i waited 2 months for, pre-ordered it and now its defective i cant get another. If i wait and see if it comes back into stock anywhere im at the back of the Que. So my only alternative is to take a refund and wait 4-9 weeks to get another or send a 1 week old phone away for a repair that will in all likely hood be beyond economical repair and have to go thought the refund thing again. You cant even get in contact with the manufacturer, on social media they ignore you or simply tell you to call tech services, But as stated the tech services are 3rd party morons.

Was looking for a Storm, but no stock and seem to a lot of quality issues so thats on hold for now. Hopefully they get a better second batch.

I'm on my second with a third incoming - bubbly bits behind the screen on both so far. The battery life is poor too, doesn't last a day. #3 may go for a refund rather than replacement.

I've had 5 swifts running with no issues so far, they seem to be better than the storms by the sounds of it

Vodafone Smart Ultra 6

  • Similar specs to the Wileyfox Swift - 1080p screen, 2GB RAM, Snapdragon 615 processor
  • £100
  • unlock to any network for about £3
  • change launcher and delete/freeze 6 Vodafone apps, and you won't know it's anything to do with Vodafone in use (I now have no Vodafone apps visible in the app drawer)
  • case to cover the subtle logo on the back and you won't know it's anything to do with Vodafone from the outside - I have http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Genuine-Real-Leather-Wal... for £3.50 and it's great. £3.50!
Why spend more?

Buying a Wileyfox Swift, it seems better put together than the storm. As said already, i'll wait till the Storm has its kinks ironed out then hand the Swift to the wife. As for why pay more? The Cyonagen OS is imho far better than stock Android. well worth the extra £30

hows everyone been getting on with their storm?

I sent mine back this week after owning it for under 3 months. A month ago it suddenly stopped receiving signal. Tried a reset etc, no fix. Sent it away for repair and 2 weeks later it came back okay. Within a week, the same fault reoccurred. Amazon were spot on and refunded instantly, and I've purchased a Chinese special to replace it

Shame really, as the phone had a lot of promise, but there were a few niggles with the function of it (occasionally rebooting itself, the power off menu hanging unless the phone was turned off etc)

You're comparing a swift with a 5" screen size with ultra 6 with a 5.5" screen.

I've used both, liked both, but I'd take the smart ultra 6
