Whenever I see car meets / events, they are always somewhere else.. is there really nothing happening in Berkshire? I seem to remember there used to be a Japanese car meeting in reading but not sure if that still happens..

Fully appreciate this thread is throwing people from Berkshire wide open to abuse from the rest of the country!

Now we move into winter things do wind down. I have organised the Virginia Water meets a couple of times which are always fun.

White Lion meetings near Hartley Wintney still go on through the the winter. Regularly 100+ cars. http://www.whitelionantiques.co.uk/classic-car-mee...

Still some goodwood and Wilton house breakfast club meetings this year. I know not Berkshire but both nice 1 hour drives from here and I regularly go to both.

I can recommend the Peacock Farm and Virginia Water meetings already mentioned too.

Paul.

Ah very interesting, thanks!

Have decided to buy a porsche and a TVR to help me blend in in my new surroundings. Will need to sell all this Japanese metal I have in the drive though...

Will pop over to the White Lion on Sunday, should be fun and can take the wife's (fake) jag out for a run (Mitsuoka Viewt).

Well, that's more tricky.. Still in the workshop - almost a year on. Seat trimmer did a runner with the rear seats (that i am due to get back on Saturday - fingers crossed) and new wood did not all fit so still in pieces.. I have high hopes though, we are aiming for Christmas to get her back on the road!

Probably not your cup of tea but we have weekly meets at Cobham Services (first monday) and Krispy Kreme in Kingston on the A3 (second tuesday) .

Mostly we have VW's but at Cobham especially we are getting a lot (50+ cars) of different cultures.. jap, performance, etc.

More about mates than the cars really.

There's the Walton Bridge classic car meet every month during the warmer months.

Same with Shepperton.

Not Berkshire, but incredibly close-by.

Pcgb and tipec Porsche clubs both active in the Thames valley and based at the Novello pub near Maidenhead. Jason usually opens up the tipec meetings to a wider audience (as someone mentioned earlier) which usually fills the car park.

Huge car park so ideal for car meets. They do a great breakfast too.
