I suggest to OP that in a last-ditch effort you send her a link to this thread to show her what you really think of her. coffee

Fair play to the OP, looks like he's done the honorable thing and left it at that.

Common PH, FFS, whilst we obviously don't know the exact wording, surely the correct response should of have been 'Yeah, and how do you feel about being stolen?'.

Easy in hindsight eh? Even easier in reality - it's called not giving (too much of) a fvck about the consequences, you'll win or you'll lose, it's all a gamble.

OP - Get back and talk to her again and get clarification on the 'stolen' bit - who knows, the two of you might be perfect for each other!

(A few years back I met a lady who on the second meet had removed her wedding rings, dame/game on it was young Jedi).

PH is a funny old place. Someone posts to say their wife is having an affair, and everyone posts to say she's a tart and he's a morally bankrupt scumbag and deserves to have his teeth kicked in for shagging poster's wife.

And here we have someone who tries to chat up a woman he fancies, she says she's married, so he walks away, and we're being told he's pathetic and she was clearly not ruling out an sexual encounter and he has let the side down by bowing out.

Or have I missed something.
I thought the same.
Armchair opinions...80% of what's said here is "what I would do if I was 'god's gift'.

'Reality' is OP has done fine
and all is not fair in love and war.
And if the conflicting PH rules (as stated in the quoted post) reflect majority 'real' opinion, it's no wonder society is screwed up.

Traditionally, female adulterers are punished far more severely than men.

The "players" on this thread are, of course, just like their online image in real

Yes, my working life has been much like that too. Lot's of female colleagues, trips away, laughs, many friends made, but no sex. Because we're all happily married. Since I joined PH I've just assumed I worked in a weird place, and had a very odd marriage where we still like each other, but maybe there's others in the same boat.
Thinking about the four offices I've worked in, it often seemed like everyone was shagging everyone else. One of them was a biggish head office that was in a small rural town so a lot of girls were very local. Spurned boyfriends / partners / husbands storming in was a regular occurrence!

Not sure what's more cringe-worthy

The line "I really want to get to know you" being thrown out there on what is basically a first "date" or the fact you are all suggesting the fact he breaks up a happy-home by sleeping with a married woman.

I'd be laughing my way to the speed dating if your Missus' did that to you but actually followed through.

If you want a quick shag there are easier ways to do it than ruining a happy relationship
If you want a serious relationship then whatever a woman would do to her current BF she would eventually do to you.
Bear that in mind.
