I converted alot of people who play cod and first hated BF4 into hating cod and liking BF4.
It's just the way you play, be more tactical and don't stand somewhere where they can just spawn behind you.
Also remember they can spot you and everybody on the team can see you on the minimap and on the game screen.
I'm on XBox as well - Tonezz. Usually a party full of people playing BF4 so you can get some training

This may sound counter intuitive but use 'hardcore' mode.
the mini map gives away far less, people die quicker and I generally just find it easier! Its much more fun also, so much so that I cant play normal mode anymore.

H/C is a much better game. I love playing it, none of my PSN friends play it though! If anyone plays it on H/C on PS4, please add me. My GT is on the list.

another thing ive found is better my ping, ie sub 50, the more stuttery the game is and eventually i drop connection, yet 50-125, it runs fine. I do wish though that they would have a region or ping lock.

Every time I've jumped in games with you you've been in girlcore rounds with other PHers.
My ping is usually 15-20 or so, maybe that's why the game is iffy at best for me most of the time!

Yeah, youd have thought that having a lower ping would be better but alas not.

I have been playing conquest on Golmud railway. Playing for the objective seems to work and I can now be found regularly in the top 5.
Having a much better time playing the game and ranked up from level 4 to 16 over the weekend just on this map.

Yes it is a brilliant game.I have been playing as an engineer and utilising a lot of the land vehicles. I seem pretty good in a tank being a gunner and managed to hop out and repair etc.
My KD ration is still terrible but not particuarly frustrating as I am still racking up points. I also worked out the Boosts and have around 5 200x boosts etc enabling me to rank up.
Got hold of my headset yesterday which should bring some more fun.
The missus thinks I am terribly sad

If you get Premium you can reset your kills, deaths and K/D whenever you want without it effecting any of your other stats. So that's nothing to worry about I have been playing as an engineer and utilising a lot of the land vehicles. I seem pretty good in a tank being a gunner and managed to hop out and repair etc.
