Jordan, much kudos for putting your head above the parapet in the face of unrelenting fire.

However your comments are focused only on the truly awful customer service your company (or your 'outsource partner') provide - the other issue which you've failed to address is the fact that you're just so damn expensive/uncompetitive.

How you manage to remain in business amazes me.

Sorry.

Hi Jordan - We've already spoken about this. Please refer to our conversation of my email on 01/06/15 at 22:15, and your response on 03/06/15 at 17:13. I've already spoken to your CS team about this situation. Out of respect I won't repost my original email to Flux, however if any PHer would like to read it I'd be happy to redact and repost it.
Go one then - the thread can't get any worse biggrin

It's worth noting Jordan posted his employment allegedly ends today, the 9th.

No other employees have posted since, as far as I'm aware.

Funny that.

Hi guys,

My name is Jamie and as of today I will be taking over from Jordan. I'm already up to speed on the current situation.

Much in the way we already have been, I will continue to investigate any issues you may have.

If I can be of any assistance then please just drop me a DM.

Thanks,
Jamie

Can you explain to me why when I got a quote, and forgot to mention the PH membership discount it came to nearly three times what I had paid last year? When I mentioned the PH discount, I got the usual "It's already been added" so why was it when I queried this was the first time I had quoted from them, let alone used them for insurance I just got hung up on?

It's not like i'm trying to insure a 1200hp Supra at 21. It's a 120hp Fiat, so nothing even that hot. If you wanted me to depart with £1300 surely your customer service would be a little better, and focused more towards finding us a deal, rather than relying on auto renewals.

In the end, I went to my current insurer and the renewal quote was still £400 cheaper than your quote. A quick phone call to them I managed to drop another £200, so I went with them.

I get that you can't be competitive all the time, but the callers attitude whilst going through the quote will tell more than enough about the companies attitude when you actually need to use them.

Let's face it with regard to the "PH" discount - it doesn't exist.

In my opinion....they have a discount with several insurers, they tout this out over multiple car forums as a promotion.

However lets face it, if you're the call handler and your trying to flog insurance to likely earn some more commission, you know you've got a price conscious caller on the line you'll remove the discount before giving them the first price.

The discount will be one they can offer to any customer regardless of membership of any website if they think they can sell another policy.

Well, I just bought a car today, wouldn't even consider using this company as they were more than very unhelpful to me previously.

They've been pretty compeititve for me. Premium was £200-300 cheaper than everyone else.
Even lowered their prices when I found a quote elsewhere (still waiting for confirmation of the price through email though, despite asking two times they've still not sent me the email).

Been hard to find reasonable quotes for me, as I'm 21 insuring a 330d in a city centre. Most say £2-3k+ whereas AF have said £1100.

5.5 months left to run on other half's policy er... please bend over sir that will be £8.32 rebate.

It gets better it really does, Adrian fux wanted a premium bump of £140 on daughters same cc newer scooter making a total of £440 ish, I ring and get quoted new policy for £260!! 9 month rebate value on original policy, drum roll please, "have you dropped them sir" yes yes come on hurry up and abuse me, I am used to your brand of ste.. Just 30%.

Nice work AF, you have already lost 3 policies from me. Won't be using you again and can only echo the negativity regarding non existent ph discounts, not to mention the customer service that has on more than one occasion involved copious pmt. Utterly hopeless.

Really Ph, partnering up with this shower??

Called Flux today for a quote and can safely say I will not be taking their policy.
30 mins of my life I won't get back.
The guy was overly pushy when I said I would think about it after I asked him to email me the details..
Got a similar quote from Footman James in under 10 mins - a much more pleasant experience.

I found this thread, whilst looking for the previous thread, as I had asked jordan a question and his answer doesn't seem to tally with what I experienced on the phone.

I have been happy with Flux for a number of years on my MR2, but now I want to add a sensible car to the fleet. Jordan had told me that Flux are able to mirror NCD onto a second car. However, on the phone mirroring the 12 years of NCD equated to a discount of £2 vs the online quote I'd had. Which wasn't any cheaper than anything I'd seen from a comparison website. Obviously this was including the mythical 15% PH discount.

Telematics box malfunction left me uninsured.
They Couldn't track mileage on telematics limited mileage policy.
1000% increase in premium for extra mileage on limited mileage policy.
50% renewal increase.
Piss poor customer service, lies or uninterested.

Don't.

They're hoping we all stop bumping the thread so that it falls off the front page and is quietly forgotten about.
