Well it started like this:

And ended like this.
Sierra based floor pan, Sierra Cosworth running gear, 2.5 V6 Duratec Supercharged, full leather interior, sounds the nuts, and its like s**t off a shovel, very nice car to drive

Interesting. What made you go for the 2.5? Did it start life as a 170bhp version? I'd have gone for the 24v from the Granada myself..

Lots of reasons: Availability , Lightness (160Kg), Different, and most of all Money, most folks would spend the same money on a pair of rocker covers compared what this cost. However in this concept it will take on most and have a good go, bloody torque it has

Is that a Sierra floor pan / chassis with an Escort mk1 body bonded on top?

Yep, its the only way to go to get the power down and the balance right, it handles extremely well

I've seen a few projects like this on the likes of passion ford amazing build.
How is it held together if the car was in a big shunt how does the body remain fixed to the floor?

Its constructed no differently to any other car, the strength is in its design and shape all seem welded, its stronger than a Escort because of the Sierra pan fitted from back too front, also you would be surprised how near everything fits between Escort to Sierra, Also what surprises a lot is the fact the interior is from a Mondeo ST, electric adjustable and heated of Corse

Had to ask for pictures, no details, distinct lack of tools scattered randomly around car and very little swearing.

2/10 - capable of more, but must try harder.

Brilliant Blake, almost standard looking.
A big pet hate of mine is when people put things in like a digital dash, and other such tacky cack.
