Wedge Christmas Dinner 2016

Hi Peeps....Just thinking about a Wedge Christmas dinner, Im thinking maybe have it either the last weekend in November or the first Saturday in December.

I should imagine it will be around £25-30 per head (Max) although I'm not sure where we should have it yet.

I was also thinking perhaps some of you in different areas of England could organise something similar, I know we won't all be sat together but we can raise a glass to each other...

If you are interested in a SE London Wedge Christmas Dinner then please let me know and/Or have any suggestions on venues...It needs to have ample parking....

Herefordshire is lovely that time of year, and theoretically still "south" according to the scousers.

I'm in too...

How about The Greyhound in Little Warley, 5 mins from the M25 Junction 29, just North of the river. Basically just a country pub, big car park, food's OK (part of the Vintage Inns chain). They may be busy in the run up to Christmas though, we'd have to know numbers in advance.

I thought Danson park was pretty good too; it was good to have a dedicated room.

Hi Martin...Danson was a good venue but they are a bit inexperienced in the way of dressing a room for people, It can be done simply and effectively and i know it doesn't affect the food but even a table cloth would of been acceptable ...The food was a bit cold last time ..Like the room and they gave our dedicated parking away..

I have another option of the Green man in Longfield but need to speak with them....The Greyhound looks okay as well...I will speak to both of them on Monday...Cheers...Ziga

Errr not sure i think its just anything with fingers...Chocolate...Fish...Sausage...Cheese...Oh and butter fingers...I will see what they say about fingering the turkey...

The greyhound rang this morning and said..."Woof woof ruff" which means we have a booking there at 12pm onwards on Saturday 12th December..I have anticipated 10 but if any more than i need to know so that i can let them know...I will see what sort of menu they can sort out...Apparently the car park is ours.....
