The thing that amuses me is when viewers see the incompetence and declare the show unrealistic because they clearly wouldn't have made such a stupid mistake. As if the real world isn't stuffed full of people who make stupid mistakes.

The incompetents are all zombie food by now, you'd have thought all the low hanging fruit are long gone. What we have now is the canny survivors, in the main. And they really shouldn't be making basic schoolboy errors.

That's a large part of the theme of this season, because the Alexandrians are not like that. And see how useless they are outside the walls.

Even so, in a world where mistakes are brutally punished, people will continue to make them and die, even when they have survived so far. That, consequences and the unforgiving nature of this world, is another theme of this season.

Who mentioned him, that Wolf? I was watching it this afternoon and browsing on the laptop, I really just don't care about it at the moment. Hopefully they can finish this season off ramping up the drama to this new guy and then get back to the battles, as they are the best part.
