Event Tyres seem to be pretty good for pricing.

Try asdatyres.co.uk
I found them pretty reasonable for MPS and you can select from a long list who you want to fit them. Tyres were manufactured within 12 months so they hadn't been sitting on the shelf for years. And importantly you pay after they've been fitted.

I was recommended "tyrespecialists" on ebay.

Hope you don't mind me asking, but while we're on the subject, can anyone recommend some all season tyres for my monaro?
The new Michelin crossclimates sound fantastic but I don't think they'll be available in 18's till next year.

I've noticed, think around £170 per tyre is the best i'm going to get.

An all season tyre is a bit of a compromise. Too soft and Woolley in summer and better than a summer, but not as good as a cold weather/winter tyre in winter.

I have two sets of 5.7vxr wheels for my monaro, and use the Vredsteins wintertrac from November to February. They are IMO a great tyre when the weather goes nasty and are pretty good up to about 10 degrees. Once you go beyond this they do feel a bit wobbly. I have found they need a higher pressure then summers and sarge 4x4 has advised I go up by 5psi to 41psi which I will try this winter. When the white stuff arrives I can go places 4x4's can't which is fun in a 400bhp car.

Nice one, I'll take a look at those.
Previous owner had yokohoma w-drive's on which I didn't have a problem with last winter.

Oponeo have been hit and miss for the MPSS.

Ive just had them deliver a full set of Falken FK453's for £450 delivered. Great service.

For my summer set I ordered 2 Michelin super sports 245/35/19's from Openeo. £151 each

When ordered it said 48 hrs, but took 2 weeks and a number of emails. Apperently they got stuck in Calais and then lorry got hijacked and tyres set on fire. Be that as it may, but I had a delay, which I was not pleased with and had I not contacted would not have been called. When I threatened to cancel order and get refund the tyres turned up the next day.
