I thought Son was our weakest link yesterday, too slow releasing the ball and got caught in possession being indecisive lots of times. Granted he's just back from injury, but the pace of the game and how quickly defenders got at him still seems to catch him out.
Lamela has been much better this year.

I thought the same thing when watching the game live, then MOTD2 highlighted him and the good things he did. Was better than I thought, but still the weakest one.

Morning, he hardly let Kane rest last season so I can't see that changing.

It's only Chelsea the weekend

Are they likely to be open at 8am on a Sunday morning?

You can go and meet the local Yids biggrin

For the rest of the 2014-2015 season we'll be watching matches at Flannery's Bar, 205 W 14th St. (at 7th Ave.)

None of those are proper strikers.

I agree we need kane fresh though, we'll run him into the ground at this rate.

Yes i agree , just that we are only 4 points off of the top with some very winnable games on the horizon. This could be a club changing season & i don't want us to fk it up.

This is tottenham...of course it'll go balls up at some point! Frankly I'm amazed it didn't happen against West Ham.

My guess is Harry will be sub to come on at 60 mins if things aren't going well.

The thing with playing in Europe is you have to play 3 games a week. Unless you don't bother with one of the competitions you're going to play a lot of the same players and maybe rotate 3-4 or you lose all the continuity.

And I think it's safe to say that players would rather play games than train. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if there are quite a few players that games are 'easier' than the training.

Calling all you knowledgeable Spuds.... shout

(that will narrow it down a bit hehe )

Just when I thought life as a Yeovil fan couldn't get any worse (we've gone from mid-table in the Championship to bottom of the Football League in 2 years, 2 months), we';ve now trusted a Spudly defender with the job of arresting our unstoppable slide into non-league oblivion.

Any of you know much about Christian Maghoma?

I met him last night... he is enormous. I'm 6'3" and he is way taller than I am and he's set to sign a youth loan deal with us. He's played in your BPL u21 squad at 16 so I guess he's decent but any other info? We've had a few loans from Spurs over the years with varying success; Caulker, Mason and Townsend were good, Parrett was awful, Hutchins disappeared after signing permanently and Obika wasn't bad.

Just curious - who looked the best of the lot? I would imagine Caulker, followed by Mason, and then Townsend?

Seems like Steve Mclaren is putting Townsend top of his shopping list for January angling for a loan move with a view to a permanent transfer. Can't see him getting back in the squad let alone a starting 11 please so wouldn't be upset to see him go.

Chaps, confident about tonight or is it a case of wait to see team sheet?
