Hi All
Been a bit slow on the car this last few months, Doctor says I need new knees and been working for the old firm (which is not helping my knees but the money comes in handy).

The engine went from this

To this

Engine back in the car now, just sorting all the hoses and fuel lines before the body goes back on for good. Been to the water jet cutters and had some bits cut to make the turbo manifold up, need to get a bottle of gas to start welding.
The exhaust and oil pump guard is all fitted, rad, intercooler, oil and tran's coolers all fitted.

Just need to make fiberglass cover for the oil pump to keep it free from crap.

as I was off my legs for a few weeks I started to make up the engine loom, just need to fit and connect to the ECU and TCU.

Looking very nice Alan. Everytime you post an update I think I should book an appointment to come over to meet you and take a look at this monster, what with you being just around the corner and all. Then I feel bad as mine's been in pieces 3 1/2 years and going is back together pretty standard unlike yours, annoying when life gets in the way of fun isn't it.
Oh well, maybe one day.

Keep up the good work.
Carl.

Hi All
That means I will have to get a coffee pot or beer fridge. Knees been bad for a long time, several injections, still on them, finish car 2 years driving and then will have them done.
Had a few good days down at the workshop, stalling with the body just in case I have missed something, I have a mate coming round to look things over next week, going to do a mot style inspection on the chassis,
Yesterday got the oil lines to the pump done, made up an adaptor to connect the two lines one is AN-20 and one 200 mm long AN-12 that fits to the pump, tight as ducks ass to fit them in so would have been a pain with the body on.
Today I need to make a cover plate for the gearbox as the old sump had it cast in, make up a couple of fittings for the return oil and it's looking good.
The next job is to weld up the Manifold, had it all water jet cut so its just a fettle up and weld, have gone for a Shelby Mustang GT500 twin throttle body to give it some poke.

Alan

Oil from boot

Oil into pump

There 2 bolt holes where I can connect two hose clamps

This is a AN-20 hose with a Wigging connectop, need to make a AN adaptor

. We'll done Alan looking v good will fly and sound fantastic May be these would be a better bet on the suction hoses as you don't need cavitation on those expensive pumps. We'll done again Richard.

Hi
The hose is Kevlar braided, don't want to cut the end off and spend £50 on a new fitting, it has a quick release clamp on it,

The end I need is the one with the red circle, best price from the states is $120 inc all the post and duty. Should be able to turn something up on the lathe for a few quid

Not really, It replaces the old single side throttle body to a Twin throttle plate which works better that the old one. I don't have room for the side throttle body so I got this one as it fits on the front, been used on a number of conversions and was a Good price.
There was to many holes to blank off on the old one, emissions, heater pipe and tank vapours
