Bits of films that hey the hair on your neck standing up!

The opening of Quantum of Solace. The mood music cutting to the sound of the Aston in the tunnel is epic.
Apollo 13 launch scene mentioned earlier. If you like this, try In the Shadow of the Moon. A Film4 docu-film from 2006 or so, with Apollo astronaut talking heads mixed with original footage. Intro shots of a Saturn launch really get me every time.

The death of the baby scene in Trainspotting. Difficult watch at the time, not least because my daughter was the same age

I probably shouldn't have clicked onto that!http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x31lg44
It has been years since I watched Trainspotting and it was before I had children, whilst I remeber it being a tough watch back then, watching it now brought a whole new dread and meaning to it!

Big Fish - where he lowers his father into the water and he becomes a fish. Really moves me that film
Wonderful film. Not many people I know like it but I love it and the concept. For me it's the bit st the end where all the people turn up to his funeral. And the bit where his son is looking thru his stuff in the shed. Love it.
