[quote=purpleperil]I'm not offering a cent over $2M hehehttp://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/f...[/quote

Mine has no stripe so I'm guessing is only worth £1.5m.If I offered a px plus £1m cash does the forum think I might be able to do a deal ?

Think of a number add a nought and hope some mug pays half the advertised price. The market will determine the prices cars actually sell at

I think the lack of curry-covered celebrities might be a deal breaker ...

Wise words - we have seen this with the ever downward selling prices of the 650s to evidence this.

Please Bruce don't get me started on those 650's again, what great value they are.

Which low mileage csrs ones advertised - oh yes they are LHD
If you call 4600 high mileage your nuts

Also, it may be nuts and you may not like to hear it but 4,600 miles for a Speciale less than 1 year old is high mileage. However crazy that may be it does not make me nuts for saying it!

Spent a few hours in the garage this morning cleaning my five month old 2,500 mile Rosso Corsa / grey racing stripe 458 S and I couldn't be happier with my choice of car. It would take a very serious lump of wedge to get me to hand over the keys and say goodbye to my Speciale!

Mike that is how most if not all owners feel and as Rob said we both kept getting calls asking to buy the car and so we expressed a price at which we would sell. Simple really. We all know if 20 hit the market at once the prices now being offered would tank but we still drive the best cars out there imop

I must say i am gutted to have passed on one of these in Jan this year - it was £255k, delivery mileage, sat in the dealers showroom. Ferrari do seem to be on such excellent form at present - everything they make seems to be spot on!

I feel the same way.

I have just been up to the garage to get an extension cable for the Xmas tree and had a walk around the car for a few minutes and thought of the amount of fun i have had in it this year.I really do not think i will ever sell this car.

+1. And I can't even see Ferrari tempting me out of it with a 488 GTO/Speciale in 2 or 3 years. They would need to retain a N/A engine, as Porsche has done with the GT3, do some substantial weight reduction, at least 200 kg, and stray not too far from Speciale prices ...
