Suzuki came and picked my SRAD up today, I won a contest to have my bike on their stand for the duration and got 2 free tickets as well! Result!
Very cool, ill keep an eye out for it when I go on the 2nd...I was fortunate to get my free ticket from Suzuki last Friday.Had a look around today, few photos below.
Best angle, not much of a looker from the front and back. Hard to tell what it would look like with more normal paint, also it wouldn't have killed them to have one to sit on as well as one just spinning around.
Part of the GSXR through the ages display, all the others mint/standard so why choose this for the K5? Aftermarket screen, shopping list, festooned in tat. Biggest surprise was there was no S1000RR at the end of the development cycle.
Nice to see Norton branching out into other markets with some more modern looking machinery.
Though actually this was rather nice...
Looks better with aftermarket exhausts. Of the usual 1000cc suspects I think this is actually where my money would go, mostly due to me fitting it better than the others.
Not sure I would go again, quite difficult to eek out 20 pounds worth of interesting.

I went yesterday, enjoyed the day out and its nice to do something bikey in this crappy weather.
Sat on an S1000RR for the first time and was surprised how comfy it was, it seemed to 'fit' me perfect.
Also managed to pick up a new lid at a decent price, Shoei NXR Bradley smith rep for £299, which I love. Its really nice and light, comfy and feels excellent quality. Can't wait to try it out.

I saved more than the entrance fee for two of us in the few items that I bought. Made it worthwhile for me, although due to a slight medical reason wasn't able to take anything out for a ride, which I did last year.rat840771 said:
I enjoyed the day.
Ducati had some great bikes, as did Yamaha. BUT....The MT10 was a disappointment and I really want to love it but that grey and yellow colour scheme mixed in with transformer looks is horrendous IMO!
Totally agree on the Mt - I was ready to buy one, cept they look terrible in the flesh.Ducati had some great bikes, as did Yamaha. BUT....The MT10 was a disappointment and I really want to love it but that grey and yellow colour scheme mixed in with transformer looks is horrendous IMO!
KTM superduke R was a lesson in how not to show bikes - bubbles in the graphics all over the shop. Thirteen grand and they don't even paint the tank.
I'm not bothered whether I get a deal which pays for the entrance fee. For me its a day out with others talking and looking at bikes. Ill be perusing the stands on Thursday, having a few beers and watching whatever's on the stage. I don't think it's overpriced, under £20 for a full day out is Ok by me, I just wish the bus would get there a bit earlier so I could get booked in for one of the experiences or test rides.

HOLY MOTHER OF GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Went today and really enjoyed it. Was quieter than before. Sat on loads of bikes I like and would test ride next year and ended up loving the Arial Ace.
Was not the bike I was hoping to love but just seemed to be a bike I love the looks of. Test ride in the spring.
I'm probably biased...
But I thought it was a good show and well worth 20 quid of anyone's money. The trade stands/sections do seem to have been a bit smaller this year, but I thought that the manufacturer's displays were all noticeably bigger than in the recent past; a positive sign that their finances have recovered a bit lately. Even if you're not in the market for a new bike, it's nice to spend the day chatting with like minded people and just enjoying a bikey day.
I did manage to come away with a new lid as well
