My only excitement for this race is that I am currently 3rd in or works fantasy F1 team and chasing down 2nd. Just need a good result from Carlos and Max smile

Will this GP have the lowest TV viewing figures in modern times?

I'm hopeful for a decent race, but also looking forward to the nap I have during what will probably be a typical dull race.

Last race, nothing to fight for. Mercedes should grow some balls, start both cars from the back and see how they get on. At least it'll give the fans something to watch then.

Just goes to show much interest there is in this race than when one of the teams is locked out of the circuit nobody seems to notice!

... if they had a system where you could pick a race and played your joker to get double points then I'd wouldn't be exactly against that.
If they wanted to largely negate bad luck through unreliability, they could do what they do in sailing and discount drivers' two (or whatever seems appropriate) worst races.

Just like they did in F1 up until 1990. It's only since 1991 that drivers have to count every race in their final tally.

I can't see what Mercedes would lose by doing it to be honest, it'd even be good PR for them. I can't see how there'd be any fans who would be disappointed to see Hamilton and Rosberg fighting their way through the field.

So it's Saturday morning and there hasn't even been one post about FP1 or FP2... not much interest in this one then? hehe

Didn't get to see them sadly, just watching FP3 before getting dogs out. Some good spins!

Complete lack of interest in what F1 has become may be a reason for some here. Can't say this race ever filled me with enthusiasm especially now it's the last race of the season and has ousted Brazil of that. Still the race at Brazil was dull so I guess it doesn't really matter anymore.

The Sky F1 show so far has been a load of total rubbish. They have clearly totally run out of things to say, painful viewing.

BBC seem to have some juicy story on Ferrari breaking wind tunnel testing rules.

Darwin would have been proud. Not only the species survived Asda we adapted to avoid it!
