Can someone explain "98db static" to me please. I'm assuming it is the reading at 1m distance and 45 degree angle from the exhaust at 2/3 max revs as at other tracks ?

If so I'm banned hehe

Mate wants to attend, but not register. Will outer car parks be open?
Kind of defeats the object of a Sunday service really.
Agreed, get him to sign up its not hard, or he can attend in your car? This time of year I doubt they will use the fields.

Is there a particular time that all cars need to be in place by? I take it we can leave whenever we choose? Apologies, this will be my first one... :embarrassed:

No set time to arrive but don't leave it too late as people start departing after an hour or so.

Any chance of them offering noise checks on the Sunday?

I can't make the Saturday track day but it would be useful to know whether my car would pass for the future.

Thought so, whenever I've pulled into the circuit area on a GRRC day just to view I've had a few "looks" from Marshalls hehe

If i put my car on the list for sunday is it the type of event where when you get there everyone is cleaning ther cars or is it more about speed?
I want to put my name down and bring my car but not if it has to be spotlessly clean....obviously i would give it a wash before the trip down..
Thanks in advance

And the usual warning to take extra care on the approach to Goodwood.

the villages all have speed limits and the BiB are often out and about.

Mine is white and will be filthy.

My last trip to a SS at Goodwood I got ticked off due to a very dirty plate on my 123d M Sport. I was doing near on 600 miles a week
