So what have people found yet?

I'm after an i5/i7 SSHD laptop possibly a wireless cinema system as we have annoying wires which our little one loves pulling and maybe something else new TV ours is a 6+ year old LED so could do with a 4K Smart TV bigger screen.

Hmmm

Well, to the "non believers", I've so far managed to get a brand new dewalt drill for the old mans Xmas pressie for £40 (should be £100) and a fk down duvet for £32 (should be £130).

There are deals to be had, but only if its things you were gonna get anyway!

Edit - spot the comedy auto correct moment...

Champers for Christmas/New Year/because you're worth it wink

Bollinger Special Cuvee in Sainsburys for £30 a bottle
Then an additional 25% off if you buy 6 or more bottles
= £22.50 a bottle usually £40

M&S Louis Chaurey Champagne (which I prefer to Boli) usually £30
Case of 6 = £96
Buy 2 & get 25% off = 12 for £144
= £12 a bottle usually £30

I've had a few bargains out of it. I have no idea why the dog food we get is in the black Friday deals, but got a sack of that and saved £15 compared to the offer price we normally pay. We need a new sack soon anyway. I've bought my wife a watch for Christmas and that was £150 less than anywhere else I could find it. Mainly used the Amazon deals to get Christmas presents, it's basically meant that people will be getting a better version of what they were going to get. Looking at the Amazon deals today, it's a bit rubbish, a lot of it seems to be the stuff they they didn't manage to shift earlier on, but people seem to be buying as it's black Friday. I won't be going to a shop for any sales today, but I've done okay online

I saw ipad Air 1's with £60 off at tesco, and with boost points i can get afuyrther £12 and if i trade in my old ipad 2 to GMAE i get £108 back. So i could get a new ipad for £140.

The old Ipad 2 works okay but its just becoming crushingly slow and clunky with Ios upgrades, i hate having to update something just because its getting slow but stuffs not opening properly like books and the like, but i hate that its only not working because of 'updates'

Planned obsolescence should be hated. I have no idea why people think of Apple as a big cuddly company, when they're far bigger s than even Microsoft.

Just in Saintsbury's. Those blaupunkt TV's are piled high. 40" for £160. Might be good for a bedroom.

Going to buy a printer for £25. I very rarely use one and they tend to dry out.

I had to meet somebody at Saintsbury's at nine am. Apparently they had extra staff in but it looked very quiet

I know, i fecking hate it, the things only 4 years old, works fine but its just such a pain opening stuff in ibooks or flipping between windows, takes an age.

Though Mrs seems agreeable to split the cost of a new one! I will not argue
