She's after a new car, and I'm lost with what to suggest / look at.

I live in a city, and it's mainly town driving, so the obvious choice for her is a range rover evoque. Curbs are high in Cardiff....

Her criteria:

Big one
Better than her sisters (Kia sportage)
Phone connects straight away

My criteria:
Under 15k

Based on the recent fanboi comments on here... All she needs is a 15 year old sabb 9-5.

BMW X5
Nissan Qashqai
VW Toureg

Just a few that came to mind, all of which look better than the Kia.

Don't think I'd own any myself... I'd go for a Range Rooney for about 10k and keep the rest for a private plate and a just incase fund for when it expensively breaks, which it probably will. Lovely cars though.

Let me help add some criteria for you:-

Not a bloody diesel.

Not a bloody SUV.

Now you might end with a tolerable car that will not kill any local children.

I fink we have a winner.

ETA: The beauty of it being it's LHD so she can actually peer down and see where the curbs are!

Alternatively, just set fire to some tyres in your garden and dump rat poison in the local reservoir.
