Hi,

My 996 TT takes some real work the drive smoothly through town and my mates seems to be the same.

He suggested turning on the aircon as that helps with the idle control but does anyone have any other tips?

I heard that when you get the cars tuned by for example AMD this problem can be solved but any other tips would be great.

In addition has anyone ever had a Porsche Short Shifter fitted to their 996 TT?

Cheers

Err, not sure about this one, my car is a pussycat to drive around town, well in fact it's a pussycat to drive anywhere. What exactly seems to be the problem?

Also, Is it your mates driving your car or your mates driving their turbos?

Consider if the drivability is hampered by jolting when you engine break. When you have accepelerated enouh and are about to lift off the gass, decutch and then coast. Won't get you through a driving test but is a lot smoother
