Come on, by now you should know the score. We don't like Wednesdays. But we do like giving lots of lovely prizes away to PHers. We do this on Wednesdays. Every Wednesday! Its not exactly rocket surgery, but spreading some goodie-based joy amongst our community is important to us.
So, without further ado it’s time for you to try and Win on Wednesday.
This week’s prize is a pretty special one... but aren't they all!?! Following on from our first ever Sunday Service at Santa Pod and as part of the raceway’s 50th-anniversary celebrations we are pleased to offer up a passenger ride in their 1000bhp 2 seater dragster. Yes, really! This prize is worth nearly £500 as is certainly not for anyone faint hearted! You're going to have one hell of a ride, as you feel the incredible G-force generated as you complete the iconic Santa Pod 1/4 mile strip in just 7.9 seconds. You'll cross the timing beams travelling at 170mph before being slowed down by the car's parachutes.
This really is a special prize and we are incredibly excited to hear all about it from the lucky winner!
The date of the ride is Friday 27th May 2016 as part of the FIA/FIM Main Event which is round 1 of the European Drag Racing Championships and you’ll be able to soak up the days racing whilst you’re here too as entry to the event for you and a friend is also included.
Terms and Conditions
All passengers will be required to sign a disclaimer form prior to their passenger ride. This experience is not be suitable for those who are pregnant, suffer from epilepsy or any mental or physical disability. Passengers must be a minimum of 16 years old but additionally must be a minimum of 5ft to ensure the safety systems and restraint systems are fully effective. Passengers must be able to get in and out of the dragster unaided. Further info if needed can be seen here Only one entry per member. The winner(s) will be selected at random. Entries are open until Midnight next Tuesday after which entries will not be counted. The winner will be announced next Wednesday.
