993S spoilers

Am looking around at purchasing a 993 C2/4S, although not in a rush.

However I notice that some S models rear spoilers grills are split and some aren't.

I always thought that the split spoiler was one of the designating features of the S model.

Can someone confirm ?

Unless some one corrects me, only the 993 S had a split rear spoiler grille.

The 993 4S had a normal full width spoiler grille like narrow body versions.

Absolutely, but you can buy them and retrofit - they possess a delightful aesthetic, I find !

Thanks Chaps. Odd how the C2S has the half slats and the C4S full slats - like I said, I thought that was one of the design features that differentiated the S model from the standard Carrera.

Just goes to show you learn something new everyday !

I'll probably do one more summer in the Exige, and look at another 911 in the Autumn/Winter.
