I have had a 2001 Zaskar sitting around for nearly a year now. had it vapour blasted, new style graphics made and have been sourcing some nice parts for it. Pace RC36 pro class carbon forks, White Industries cranks, BB, hubs. Thomson seat post, stem and carbon bars. CK head-set. Extralite v-brakes from Italy and few other bits and pieces.

hope you like -

showing 17 lbs on the scales at home. going to bring the parcel scales home one night and double check. they are calibrated so will get a correct weight.

Nice.

That looks lovely...

(certainly puts my 'converted to commute use' Avalanche in it's place!)

...my nice GT was stolen over ten years ago now. Insurance paid out OK but circumstances dictated that I bought a new bike rather than replace it with a 'proper' classic GT. I'm still not in a position to fund a build like yours, but it's lovely to see these old bikes having new life breathed into them.
