I think they're just rocks.

Carefully selected and trimmed by the bricklayer mind, but mainly just rocks.

Also, does anyone know anywhere that sells them? Ideally in the south west. Google seems to be letting me down tonight!

You generally find them at Garden centres or Builders' Merchants; although you might need to go back to the 1960s/1970s when they were more popular. If you are trying to match those particular ones and only need a few you may find it easier to make a mould and make your own

You could try your local salvage yards but it'll probably be quicker and cheaper to replace the lot with something else .

Yes they need to match

To cut a long story short, they are there to replicate the original Victorian ones that were there before. They can't be removed as the house is in a conservation area, and I need some more to complete another wall that has to be in the same style according to the planners.

Sounds like your best bet is to talk to local builders / merchants / salvage yards

If a mould can be made then it's a simple matter of pouring concrete/cement of the right colour.

Make that the 1860's/1870's then.
